Higher Education Funding Council for England expands in Stoke Gifford

Dominions House in Stoke Gifford has been leased in a deal that enhances an already successful year for the national offices team in the Bristol office of Colliers International.

The entire self-contained office building, which comprises 7,614 sq ft of open plan space and extensive on-site car parking, has been taken by the Higher Education Funding Council for England for 10 years with a break in 2023.

Colliers International acted on behalf of Gainwell Ltd, jointly with Williams Gunter Hardwick.

James Preece, director in Colliers’ national offices team, said: “This letting is the latest by the national offices team on Bristol’s thriving northern fringe, in a year where take up has been well above the five-year average.

“The Higher Education Funding Council for England already has premises opposite Dominions House, but needed extra space and this recently-refurbished building has met that requirement in terms of both space and location.”

Other local occupiers in Stoke Gifford, which is well-placed for Parkway station and Junction 1 of the M32 motorway, include the Ministry of Defence and Aviva.
