Property consultancy Sanderson Weatherall has bolstered its Birmingham team with two new appointments.

James Cartwright joins the firm as Associate Partner and Beverley Stamps as Surveyor. James and Beverley will focus on delivering property valuations, agency and property management across the firm’s growing client base in the Midlands, including Barclays Bank, Paragon Bank plc, Nationwide Windows and Cooperative Group.

James joins the firm with nine years’ experience as a Chartered Surveyor, including significant experience in property valuations for the Healthcare sector, as well as providing business rates advice.

Commenting on his appointment, James said, “I am delighted to be joining Sanderson Weatherall as I was aware of their strong reputation in the market.  I wanted to work for a well-focused organisation at an exciting time in its national development. I chose to join the team at Sanderson Weatherall to become involved in the valuation of a wider range of properties, and subsequently improve my knowledge and experience.”

Surveyor Beverley Stamps has joined the firm after graduating from Reading University with a First Class Honours degree in Estate Management. Prior to completing her degree Beverley gained experience in the sales, letting and management of both residential and commercial property and at Sanderson Weatherall she will be working towards her Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) qualification.

Speaking on the appointments, head of the Birmingham office, Peter Fowles, commented, “It’s great to have James and Beverley on board and continue on the progress that we have made in the Birmingham market.  They both bring with them expertise and knowledge that will be vital to overall vision for the future of the business and I look forward to working with them both”.

“Their appointments further highlight Sanderson Weatherall’s commitment to development at all levels, be it a senior or graduate appointment. By working with a nationally recognised company with a longstanding reputation, they will no doubt benefit from the collective experience across the firm, providing them with excellent foundations for the progression of their careers.”
