Cover Structure opens first base in Aberdeen

On behalf of Knapperna Investments Limited, Ryden has sold a 545 sq m (5,861 sq ft) industrial unit with office space and yard at Site 10, Kirkhill Place, Dyce, Aberdeen to Cover Structure Ltd.

This is the Leeds-headquartered company’s first venture into Aberdeen and the roofing and cladding specialist has taken the space to help service a contract to provide the roofing and cladding for Aberdeen’s new exhibition and conference centre.

The detached industrial unit is located at Kirkhill Industrial Estate and is ideally situated with excellent road connections to the north and west of the city with easy access to the city centre and routes to the south.  Nearby occupiers include: Expro North Sea, J&S, Geolink (UK), Petrasco Services and TIS Manufacturing.

Matthew Moggach, surveyor at Ryden who concluded the transaction, commented: “We received a good level of interest in this property from several parties and our client is delighted with the outcome.  The unit has recently been refurbished and therefore Cover Structure will be able to move in and commence work on the city’s new exhibition centre straight away.”
