Naismiths strengthens London office with new project manager

Leading property consultancy Naismiths is hoping to race ahead of the competition with the latest appointment for its London office.

Alistair Till has joined the firm as a project manager, after leading several multi-million pound developments in his native New Zealand.

Before establishing a career in property Alistair competed at an international standard in ski racing, and was also a member of the New Zealand Youth Ski Team. He remains an avid skier.

Naismiths is a national multi-disciplinary, independent property consultancy with offices in London, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Leeds and Leicester. Its range of services includes project monitoring, project management, building surveying, restructuring and recovery, expert witness and dispute resolution.

Alistair said: “I am delighted to be living in London, and extremely excited to be starting a career with Naismiths which has shown great faith in my abilities. This is the perfect place for me to grow, showcase myself and feel part of a successful, growing team.”

After graduating from New Zealand’s University of Otago with a degree in Finance, he graduated from Auckland’s AUT University with a Master’s degree in Construction Management, achieving a distinction. During his studies, Alistair worked as a labourer on construction sites to gain first hand experience.

Once he had obtained his qualifications he was hired by New Zealand RCP as a consultant project manager, where he spent three years managing a number of large-scale projects. These included the delivery of a £16 million six storey, 96,000 sq ft office complex and the construction of a £4 million, 100,000 sq ft warehouse unit.
