Over 40 construction and property professionals gathered at Nottingham’s Riverbank Bar & Kitchen this month (3rd November) to celebrate the launch of a fourth regional office for consulting development engineers, M-EC.

The rapidly growing, award-winning consultancy officially launched its new Nottingham office with a private drinks reception for clients, colleagues and new contacts at the popular venue adjacent the River Trent. Managing director, Eddie Mewies commented: “Nottingham’s construction sector is busy, with plenty of development going on in the city and wider county. We were keen to bring together existing clients, and hopefully some new ones, to celebrate our growth and extend our thanks for the support that has allowed us to succeed.”

M-EC’s Nottingham office is situated at the Nottingham Sustainability & Enterprise Centre (NSEC), part of New College Nottingham. With a team of six engineering and surveying professionals, including two apprentices, Nottingham becomes the fourth premises for the business, which has further regional offices in Birmingham and Milton Keynes alongside its head office in Ibstock, Leicestershire.

The team in Nottingham is currently working on a number of multi-disciplinary Highways & Infrastructure, Higher Education and Sport & Leisure schemes. “We’re looking forward to ending the year in a strong position and with a healthy pipeline of work to kick start 2017,” added Mr Mewies.
