Leading Birmingham based commercial property developer Stoford has been named Developer of the Year at the highly prestigious Industrial Agents Society Awards (IAS Awards).

The last 12 months have seen Stoford become a major player in the UK industrial market with 19 industrial schemes on site ranging from 68,000 sq ft to 1,200,000 sq ft. The projects are a mixture of pre-let/pre-sale occupier led deals and joint development funding partnerships with a number of key partners. This year Stoford will deliver over 3.6 million sq ft of space for occupiers including Poundland, ERA Home Security, DPD, The Range and Amazon.

Stoford’s pre-let delivery projects this year have an end value of over £250 million and will create over 5,000 new jobs at sites across the country.

Established in 1987, the IAS Awards celebrate the success and achievements of the industrial property sector. Now in their 29th year, the awards remain widely recognized as the industry’s premiere networking event, attended by leading owners, occupiers, developers and funders of industrial and logistics real estate, as well as their agents.

Dan Gallagher, joint managing director of Stoford, said: “This has been a challenging year for much of the property industry. However, during this time Stoford has delivered some of its biggest ever schemes.

“We’re extremely proud to have been awarded Developer of the Year at the IAS Awards and pleased it was voted for by the market – it is a true testament to the dedication and hard work of both the team and our partners, without whom we would not be celebrating this achievement.”
