Simmons & Simmons LLP, have completed a regear of their leases at CityPoint.   Simmons & Simmons occupy just over 178,000 sqft of space in the building and have agreed to remove the tenant break option in March 2020, thereby extending the term certain to March 2025.  The space that they had subleased to Morrison and Foerster, Mimecast and Ebiquity will be surrendered with the landlord taking on the tenants directly.

Simmons & Simmons is an international Law Firm with an integrated network of offices in Europe, The Middle East and Asia.  They have more than 1500 people including over 250 partners and 800 other legal staff. Their key sectors of expertise are asset management and investment funds, financial institutions, life sciences and technology, media and telecommunications (TMT).

Commenting on the deals Paul  Stanford, Senior Managing Director of Beacon Capital Partners said; “Simmons & Simmons were one of the original occupiers of CityPoint in 2000 and we are really pleased that we have been able to work with them to satisfy their occupational requirements and that they have chosen to extend  their term certain at the building. We are delighted to welcome Kaye Scholer to the building and they add to the incredibly strong roster of legal tenants that we have in the building.  We do have some vacant space that will be launched to the market shortly and already have some strong interest. These transactions endorse the high quality of the building, the ever-improving location and Beacon’s commitment to appropriate investment into the building.”
