New Eastbourne home for Handelsbanken

Stiles Harold Williams have completed the letting of new Eastbourne offices to Handelsbanken – one of Europe’s leading banks with over 850 branches in 25 countries, and more than 11,700 employees.

Neil Hooper, Branch Manager of Handelsbanken Eastbourne said: “I am delighted to have opened Handelsbanken in the heart of Eastbourne, and having known Stiles Harold Williams personally for many years, they were very quick to offer their assistance and find the perfect location for us.

“This means we are now very accessible for our customers and local professionals, and we look forward to welcoming them to our exciting new premises. It is also testament to the growth and opportunities within Eastbourne and the local area that Handelsbanken has made the decision to set up a local branch here in the town.”

The 1,700 sq ft ground floor premises at Ivy House in the town centre have been occupied on a long lease and fitted out to a high specification to suit the bank’s exacting requirements.

Jason Roberts, Negotiator for SHW said: “We heard that Handelsbanken had a requirement in Eastbourne at a very early stage. We immediately got in touch and discussed their requirements and conducted a number of viewings. We are very pleased to have agreed terms to bring this prestigious firm in to the town centre’s best office space.”
