Pelham Court in Carrington, Nottingham, has proved popular among a variety of businesses, with leading property consultancy Bruton Knowles selling three properties at the city centre site in recent months.

Among the occupiers is expanding Nottinghamshire-based commercial refurbishment firm B&M Installations and new family mediation business, Inspire Mediation. A medical consultancy has also opened at 5 Pelham Court.

Associate Sam Spencer of Bruton Knowles said that although the buyers’ requirements were very different, Pelham Court was an ideal location for them all.

He said: “We are delighted to have sold three excellent properties to some fantastic businesses in Nottingham, as they continue to expand their offering.

“The location is excellent for any business with car parking, and great transport links into the city centre and proximity to other businesses.”

B&M Installations is doubling the size of its offices in preparation for new client wins and an expanding workforce.

The family-run firm is transforming the 2,000 sq ft three storey building at 1 Pelham Court into a high spec office and showroom. The new office is more than twice the size of the firm’s previous home in Annesley Road, Hucknall.

Sam added: “The building acquired by B&M Installations has real potential for refurbishment and with the in-house skills that the business has, it will look fantastic.

“In the case of Inspire Mediation, we knew the property was the perfect fit for this new venture.

“The building is known locally for providing family mediation services so we knew it would suit the client’s needs. It is also close to main transport links and has ample parking, with 12 spaces.”

Inspire Mediation was set up by experienced mediator Rachel Turner and three other specialists from Fame, a family mediation service which was forced to close following legal aid changes.

To accommodate the new venture, Rachel bought a 3,000 sq ft unit at Pelham Court – Fame’s former premises – following a deal with Bruton Knowles.

Sam added: “Each of these offices were the perfect fit for each of the three businesses and I would like to wish all of them the best of luck in their future ventures.”
