Refurbishment increasingly seen as crucial in Bristol’s under pressure office sector

With Bristol office accommodation in increasingly short supply landlords are accelerating refurbishment programmes to ensure their property is at the front of the queue.

That is according to sector specialists Colliers International, who have been appointed by leading commercial developer, Terramond to let the first floor at the established Bristol Business Park. The office offers 2,600 sq ft of comfort cooled space including a kitchenette and shared use of shower facilities.

National offices director James Preece said: “Although the offices already offer a mixture of open and high quality partitioned offices the landlord felt the time was right to make further improvements to the premises.

“With no new developments underway and continuing erosion of Grade B stock to conversion schemes, attention is being focused on remaining stock so it is important the facilities offered are as competitive as possible.

“Bristol Business Park is one of the best out of town business parks in the area and provides quick access to both the city centre, is close to junction 1 of the M32 and accessed directly off the Avon ring road (A4174).  The 11 allocated parking spaces are also likely to appeal.

Other occupiers on the Park include DuPont, Boeing Defence, QuinetiQ, UWE, Thales and Motability Finance.”
