Specialist cyber security firm moves UK operation to The Forum, Gloucester

Specialist cyber security and resilience firm CSA Cyber has announced it is taking 3,442 sq ft of office space on the fourth floor of Gloucester’s city centre Forum development. The move represents a strategic investment by parent brand FluidOne in the future of the wider group, with CSA Cyber playing a core role in its security-first technology strategy.

CSA Cyber will relocate almost 100 employees from Waterwells Business Park on the southern edge of the city. The company will open the doors to its new city centre office in early 2027.

Established in Gloucester in 2013, CSA Cyber supports businesses in sectors including Critical National Infrastructure, FSI and Manufacturing across the UK, and has, to date, protected over 500 companies.

FluidOne acquired CSA Cyber in November 2020 as a strategic diversification into cyber security services, a trajectory that continues to be evidenced by the company’s ongoing expansion and investment in the cyber division since.

David Woodfine, Chairman and Co-Founder of CSA Cyber, said: “As CSA Cyber continues to grow within the FluidOne group, we needed a modern workspace that reflects our ambitions for the future. The Forum gives us an environment that supports collaboration and innovation and has allowed us to maintain our roots here in Gloucester.

“Being part of a location that is fast becoming known as a technology and cyber hub will help us to ensure the continued delivery of high-quality cyber security services to our clients.”

The Forum is a £107million mixed-use development in Gloucester city centre brought forward by Gloucester City Council and developers Reef + Partners. The multi-award-winning site is home to Fasthosts Internet Ltd, co-working provider Patch, and a 129-room 4* Hotel Indigo (IHG Hotels) featuring the city’s only rooftop bar.

Peter Langly-Smith, Managing Director of Reef + Partners, said: “Our vision for The Forum was to create a vibrant hub for the technology sector and CSA Cyber’s move is a strong endorsement of that vision.

“We’re pleased such a prestigious Gloucester-based company could keep its operations and its team in the city and look forward to seeing them continue to thrive, grow and collaborate here at The Forum.”

The Forum forms part of the wider King’s Quarter regeneration and is connected to Gloucester transport hub and cycle spine. It is home to one of the largest living walls in the South West on the side of the 398-space Q Park.

A Gloucester City Council spokesperson said: “We are delighted to welcome CSA Cyber to The Forum. Attracting ambitious and growing businesses to Gloucester is a key priority for the council and sits at the heart of the vision behind The Forum. Developments like this are about creating the high-quality workspace that modern businesses expect, while bringing more investment, jobs and opportunities into the city centre.

“The decision by a respected cyber security company with national and international reach to relocate to The Forum is a vote of confidence in both the development and Gloucester’s future.”

Dorian Wragg, Partner and Head of Commercial Property at Bruton Knowles, who agreed the deal said: “A longstanding connection with CSA Cyber, meant we understood what they needed for their next stage of growth: room to expand and a base that reflected their ambitions.

“The Forum’s forward-thinking design and overall aesthetic matched those aspirations, while the community of technology businesses already operating in the area provided the right ecosystem. We recognised that fit and worked closely with the team to bring the move together. It’s a significant vote of confidence in Gloucester’s appeal to the cyber sector.”

Cyber Security Associates Limited trades as CSA Cyber. It is owned by parent company FluidOne, a UK-based security-first technology firm delivering cyber, IT and secure networking services. CSA Cyber also has a Texas office, USA, for its US operations and client support, and shares 6 other office locations with FluidOne across the UK, including the HQ in London.
