Allied Glass set for Maxim move

Maxim Office Park has announced a significant letting within Maxim 3 to Allied Glass for its first Scotland operation.

A leading glass packaging company specialising in spirit bottles, Allied Glass boasts an extensive and high profile client list including The Famous Grouse Whisky, Bulldog Gin, Phraya Rum and Glen’s Vodka.

The company is taking 2,088 sq ft within the building on a five year lease and will be operational on-site later this year.

Allied Glass was attracted to Maxim Office Park’s strategic location on the M8, close to both Glasgow and Edinburgh with easy motorway access to the whole of the central belt, ideal for servicing current clients as well as expanding the business.

Philip Morris, sales and marketing director at Allied Glass, said: “We are delighted to open our new office in Scotland at Maxim Office Park. This is a strategic decision to be closer to customers, offering a more flexible and personal service as we look to expand our business in the premium whisky and spirit sector.”

Craig Ritchie from Maxim Office Park said: “Allied Glass chose Maxim based on its great location and first rate accommodation. A highly successful business working with global brands, it’s fantastic that Allied Glass has picked out Maxim as the best place to begin its operations in Scotland and grow its already thriving client list.”

Cushman & Wakefield and Ryden represented Maxim Office Park and Sanderson Weatherall, Leeds acted on behalf of Allied Glass.
