Myddelton & Major complete Salisbury deals

Unit E2B at the Wyndham Business Centre

Property consultancy Myddelton & Major has recently completed two deals in the Salisbury area.

The Burnbake Trust, a charity that supplies disadvantaged people with low-cost furniture and essential household goods donated by the public, is expanding with a new base in Tisbury, Wiltshire. Myddelton & Major has successfully negotiated the let of Unit E2B at the Wyndham Business Centre in the town’s Hindon Lane on a five-year lease at an undisclosed rent.

Dean Speer, a partner at Myddelton & Major, said: “Taking this 1,053 sq ft unit at Tisbury will give this very worthwhile trust a lot more flexibility in dealing with the great many items of furniture it handles for those people who desperately need help.

“It shows the versatility of the Wyndham Business Centre, an exciting new development of business units, is providing purpose-built premises for a wide range of office and light industrial uses that can be adapted to individual needs.

“The centre is close to busy Tisbury with good links to Salisbury and to the north to the A350 and A303. I would anticipate strong demand for the remaining units on the site.”

Loft and cavity wall insulation specialist Miller Pattison is warming up for autumn by relocating to larger premises on a well-established trading estate in Salisbury. Myddelton & Major has successfully negotiated the let of Unit 7 on the conveniently-situated Harnham Trading Estate in Salisbury on behalf of Legal & General Property’s Industrial Property Investment Fund (IPIF).

Dean Speer said: “Miller Pattison has more than 40 years’ experience as insulation specialists and is now owned by Help-Link UK so it is one of the big players in its field.

“It is good to see them moving to a larger site with a prominently positioned unit on this popular estate, located at Netherhampton Road (B3094), linking with the A36 on the South West side of Salisbury.

“Miller Pattison’s arrival as part of a huge group has cemented Harnham at the centre of the city’s trading world with its well-rounded and varied community of businesses continuing to attract large numbers of customers.”
