Celebrations are being held by the Welsh teams of nationwide Jelf Insurance Brokers after they were awarded ‘Insurance Broker of the Year – UK’ at last night’s British Insurance Awards, during an award ceremony held at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
The prestigious title is awarded to the UK broker who can clearly demonstrate a number of criteria, including:
· innovation (in product/scheme development; marketing; and technology/digital channels)
· profitable growth and customer retention;
· staff progression;
· how senior management and employees have embraced their role within their communities; and
· initiatives aligned with strategic and business goals.
This latest industry recognition sees the Swansea and Cardiff based teams of Jelf Insurance Brokers attaining a hat trick of independent recognition for excellence – having also won Insurance Age’s ‘Insurance Broker of the Year’ at the UK Broker Awards 2014 in September, and Insurance Times’ ‘National Broker of the Year’ in December.
