Humberts acting jointly with Hatfield White have been able to agree the letting of 43/45 East Reach, Taunton on the edge of the town centre. The prominent retail unit had a corner position located at the top of East Reach in a prime location on a busy road junction.
The property comprised a two storey building fitted out as a nightclub/bar premises with parking to rear. The ground floor retail area extended to approximately 600.91 sq m (6,468 sq ft) plus first floor offices and stores. The commercial property was available to let at a quoting rent of £68,000 per annum.
Stephen Richards who heads up the commercial department comments “we received strong interest for the property due to its location facing onto the A38 being Taunton’s inner ring road. We had interest from furniture retailers through to gym/fitness studios. The property has eventually been let to a restaurateur who will carry out extensive refurbishment of the property”.
