City digital agency wins BID contract

Birmingham digital agency Adaptable has won a prestigious account with Retail Birmingham.

The team is responsible for the design and delivery of all digital and marketing collateral for Retail Birmingham as part of the BID’s strategy to communicate with its members and to promote and support the diverse range of retail destinations in its remit.

This includes refreshing the Retail Birmingham brand identity and crafting a new website (now live at www.retailbirmingham.co.uk) which showcases BID projects, news and events. The site also includes a private members area where members can access a range of useful materials.

Dan Cooper, managing director of Adaptable, said: “We’re thrilled to be able to partner with Retail Birmingham and support them in raising awareness of the great work they do around the city. We work with a lot of international clients, so it’s very rewarding to work on a local project which will fly the flag for Birmingham’s retail and leisure destinations.”

Adaptable is a digital agency located at the Custard Factory. Founded by Dan Cooper and Olly Sorsby, the team was also responsible for the design of the TEDxBrum event website.

Steve Hewlett, Retail Birmingham BID Manager, said: “2015 is set to be an exciting year for us with a host of new retailers coming to the city centre. Adaptable is a talented young digital agency in Birmingham and we’ve been really impressed with the quality of their work and retail industry understanding  in helping us develop our new brand identity and website for BID members.”

Retail Birmingham is the Business Improvement District for the city’s retail heart and was established in 2007. Midway through its second term, the BID promotes and develops the shopping, leisure and living experience in the city centre.
