Company shows surgical precision in centre move

Property consultancy Myddelton & Major has successfully let another unit at a newly refurbished Salisbury business complex.

A new letting of two units at Barnack Business Centre in Blakey Road has been agreed with a national medical supplies company.

Fittleworth Medical Ltd rented units 12 and 14 on a three year new full repairing and insuring lease.

Myddelton & Major has now let eight units in the space of three months at the business centre as it reaches near full capacity.

Just three units remain from the 27 at the centre with Myddelton & Major expecting to negotiate more successful leases shortly as strong demand continues.

Dean Speer, a partner at Myddelton & Major, said: “Fittleworth Medical Ltd are a leading national medical supplies company, which has become the latest occupier at the centre.

“We have successfully negotiated a series of leases recently at this newly refurbished centre.

“As we continue into the autumn, we will continue to market the three remaining units, which can accommodate requirements from 839 to 2,815 sq ft.

“Demand still remains strong for units at the centre and we expect to successfully progress more transactions with high-calibre companies soon.”

Fittleworth Medical Ltd specialises in the delivery of specialist medical products at more than 30 care centres nationwide.

It moves into the centre hot on the heels of Midas Tours Ltd and rehabilitation costs specialist Jacqueline Webb and Company, which both agreed long leases.

The Barnack Business Centre has 27 units and is close to the A36 Southampton Road.

It is near Wiltshire College and commercial users on the adjoining Milford Trading Estate, while other tenants at the centre include Mears Group.
