Speculative development kicks off at Coxbridge Industrial Park

South coast developer Tidebank UK Ltd has commenced a new speculative development of five industrial units on a popular Farnham business park, all of which have already gone under offer off plan with potential occupiers on a waiting list, such is the demand.  The new units, being built at Coxbridge Industrial Park, are scheduled for completion in December 2014 and vary in size from 1,525 sq ft to 2,350 sq ft.

Tidebank specialises in commercial property to buy or let, investing in and developing high quality industrial units and offices across Hampshire, Dorset, Sussex and Surrey. It has recently undertaken an extensive development in Portland on the expanding Osprey Quay Development including 16 nursery units (Mountbatten Business Centre) all of which are now occupied.

Hampshire agent Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell has been appointed to market the site and Stuart Mitchell comments: “With confidence returning to the industrial market, Tidebank’s decision to pursue its speculative development programme across the south has certainly been worthwhile. Since being appointed to bring this scheme to market, we have received a high level of interest and expect the last remaining unit to be snapped up well before the development is completed.”

Tidebank’s Kevin Jones added: “The Coxbridge development has shown that the industrial market has really picked up in 2014.  As with our other schemes we seek well located opportunities and tailor them to the local market requirements. We are now looking for additional opportunities across the south to continue our development plan roll out.”
