Blue Marble Properties and Antringham swoop on Birmingham City Centre office

Blue Marble Properties and Antringham Developments have secured the purchase of 57-63 Church Street in Birmingham City Centre in an off the market deal.

The joint venture partners plan to begin renovations imminently to create high quality office accommodation in the strong Birmingham City Centre market. The highlight of the development plans include the 2,870 sq ft ground floor that will be converted into a self-contained suite, providing a rare opportunity for a professional business to have “own front door” access directly onto Church Street.

The building’s common areas, entrance and reception will also feature in the renovations, creating sought after Grade A office space for the rest of the building.

Tim Matthews, CEO of Blue Marble Properties commented “We are absolutely delighted to have secured such a superb building in the hectic Birmingham City market. Once the refurbishment is complete, the building will offer desperately required good quality office space, in the central business district.

The part Grade II* listed building also boasts underground parking and an ideal central location, which make 57-63 Church Street a sought after address in the city. The 15,800 sq ft office building is set over five floors ranging from 2000 – 3500 sq ft and is currently part occupied by a professional firm.

The refurbishment is due to begin in October this year, and scheduled to be completed by the end of December, when the property will be presented to the market for let.  Blue Marble Properties and Antringham have appointed GBR Phoenix Beard and GVA to market the property once the refurbishment is completed.
