Limegreen doubles turnover and client base

West Midlands-based public relations consultancy, Limegreen Communications, is celebrating the ‘zest’ of second birthdays with an increased turnover and client base.

The company, which specialises in leisure, retail and technical PR, has increased turnover by 55% in its second year of trading, together with picking up a raft of new clients.

Limegreen has added the PR accounts for materials science company, Advanced Interactive Materials Science Ltd (AIMS), and plastic mould tool specialist, Promold International Limited to its impressive client list. The team will also be providing tactical investment PR for leading pub company Punch Taverns.

Established by Sarah Perrins, the former head of PR & Communications for Spirit Pub Company and Punch Taverns and Jo Mathers, who led Spirit’s PR activity, Limegreen has enjoyed continued growth since launching in May 2012.

Jo Mathers said: “We’ve had another fantastic year, doubling our turnover and account base. We’re excited to welcome these clients to our growing family of accounts, which already includes Europe’s largest nightclub operator, The Luminar Group, national retailer Scrivens Opticians and Hearing Care and Genting Casino, one of the UK’s biggest casino and leisure operators.”

Sarah Perrins added: “Jo and I wanted to form a new consultancy with a twist. Working with us gives clients access to senior consultants, hand-picked for their expertise and selected to match their brief. This approach is striking a chord with businesses looking for alternatives to the traditional agency set-up, with our new clients choosing to add a dash of lime on the back of glowing recommendations.”

Limegreen Communications will provide proactive PR support to Punch Taverns on a project basis for significant partner investments across its 4,300 leased pub estate, complementing its internal PR team. Both Promold International and AIMS are set to benefit from Limegreen’s extensive business-to-business PR & communications experience, as the consultancy embarks on an integrated media relations campaign in their respective trade press.

Using their 40 years’ combined experience working both in-house and at leading agencies, Jo and Sarah specialise in helping organisations to build brands and reputations from the inside, out.
