Spinnaker House selected as Selecta’s new UK office headquarters

Europe’s largest vending services company, Selecta, has completed a new lease on Spinnaker House in Basingstoke, signing for 8,000 sq ft of fully fitted and air conditioned offices.

Advised in the transaction by Hurst Warne, Selecta have committed to a new 5 year lease, paying £13.50 per sq ft and will enjoy a “standard” package of rent free incentives.

The Landlord, Halkin Development, was advised by Baker Davidson Thomas.

Selecta was founded in 1957, and the Swiss owned company presently boasts 140,000 vending machines in circulation, spread across 21 countries, resulting in a revenue generation of around €740 million.

Mark Johnson at Selecta commented;

“We are very pleased with this acquisition, the offices are already very well appointed with only minor adjustment required. It will also mean that the company can relocate from a predominantly industrial area of the town, into a well regarded business park address”.

Richard Thomas at BDT added;

“This is the second deal within Spinnaker House within 8 months, a tribute to the quality of space on offer and the pragmatic approach to lettings which has been adopted by our client”.
