Commercial property lawyer elected President of Wolverhampton Law Society

Leading commercial property solictor Andrew Wynne has been elected President of Wolverhampton Law Society.

Mr Wynne, who is a Partner with FBC Manby Bowdler in the city, has taken over the reins from former president Tracy Davies. Mr Wynne paid tribute to Mrs Davies’ contribution to the society, saying she was owed a debt of gratitude for the time and energy she had devoted to the role.

Mr Wynne, who joined FBC Manby Bowdler in 1996, before becoming a Partner in 2004, specialises in advising businesses in relation to commercial property matters.

He said: “I am fortunate to have been elected President with a good team of committee members. Together we hope to continue to arrange high quality and popular social events such as the Summer Ball, Annual Dinner and Quiz.

“Wolverhampton Law Society has a long and proud history. Its members have served the local community for more than 150 years. The profession is facing many challenges on several fronts but solicitors in Wolverhampton are adaptable and equipped to meet the challenges ahead and I am very much looking forward to my term as President.”
