Highcross agrees two new deals at Genesis, Woking

Highcross has completed two new lettings at the Genesis Business Park, Woking, totalling 15,000 sq ft of office space.

The latest lettings to Fukuda Denshi (4,045 sq ft) and a client of Peers Property (11,000 sq ft), follow a 13,500 sq ft deal with McCarthy & Stone (represented by Hurst Warne).

Fukuda Denshi, which specialises in cardiology instrumentation, patient monitoring and ultrasound technologies, has taken a ten-year lease on the Unit 7 office building at the park, at a rent of £17.55 per sq ft.

Highcross has Grade A office and high tech/R&D space available at Genesis Business Park, including units from 6,000 to 13,500 sq ft. In total, the scheme comprises around 100,000 sq ft of business space, spread across eight self-contained buildings.

Located at Sheerwater, less than two miles from Woking town centre, the park’s location has recently been further strengthened by the completion of work on the new Sheerwater access road.

Highcross asset management director, Nick Turner comments: “The high level of interest in the park over recent months reflects the quality of the space available and the attractive location. During the past year, we have also made significant investment in refurbishment and other improvements to the park, and the calibre of recent lettings demonstrates the strength of its appeal to both national and regional businesses.”

Agents for Genesis Business Park are Morgan Smithyes and Hollis Hockley.
