Morris Property awarded new contract at Hope House

Morris Property are delighted to have commenced a new contract for the extension to Hope House to form a family suite. The building is currently a single and two storey detached, traditionally constructed, purpose built children’s hospice. The new building work will be to construct an additional single storey extension comprised of load bearing cavity external walls, internal block walls and a tiled trussed, rafter hipped roof to match the original building.

Hope House Children’s Hospice opened in 1995 and provides care and support to life-limited babies, children, young adults and their families from Shropshire, Cheshire, North and Mid Wales.

The Department of Health awarded Hope House with a grant of just under £176,000 to extend the Children’s Hospice which will allow them to provide a family suite where friends and family can stay close to their child.

The building work is on programme to be completed for the 20th December 2013.
