Legal Eagles take the plunge in Pier to Pier swim

Six legal eagles will be making a splash this month in the annual Bournemouth Pier to Pier swim.

The team, from Dorset and New Forest law firm Ellis Jones Solicitors, will be swimming the 1.4 miles between Bournemouth and Boscombe Piers on Sunday July 14.

They join 1,200 fellow swimmers in the annual charity swim, organised by the British Heart Foundation.

The team comprises Partner David McWilliam, Head of Personal Injury Department; solicitors Donna Stevens, Kate Brooks, Katie Taft and Paul Kanolik and secretary Maxine Bennett.

Nigel Smith, Ellis Jones’ Managing Partner, said: “I’m really proud of the way our team volunteer for charitable events such as this.

“Thanks to their hard work we raise thousands of pounds every year for a variety of worthy causes. I salute their dedication and commitment.”

Ellis Jones, a Legal 500 firm, is one of the largest law firms in Dorset and West Hampshire with approximately 100 staff including eight partners.

It has offices in Bournemouth, Canford Cliffs, Ringwood and Swanage offering a wide range of services to individuals and businesses.
