BCA Logistics moves to 3700 Parkside, Birmingham Business Park

BCA Logistics has moved into new 10,000 sq ft premises at 3700 Parkside on Birmingham Business Park. BCA Logistics is the UK’s largest provider of Logistics Solutions in the automotive sector, delivering a range of market leading products and services and 110 staff have moved to the new premises from their current offices in Bordesley Green and Measham. The move has come on the back of 2 years sustained growth for BCA Logistics in which the company saw volumes increase by around 30%. Last month BCA announced the acquisition of nkl automotive ltd, the vehicle logistics specialists based in Goole, Yorkshire which has become part of BCA Logistics.

3700 Parkside on Birmingham Business Park provides BCA Logistics with a purpose built headquarters and technology hub to control the company’s fast growing logistics business which currently handles over a quarter of a million moves annually. Birmingham Business Park offers easy access to the Midlands motorway network with both the M6 and M42 motorways within a mile.

Working with the Business Investment team at Solihull Council, BCA were able to consider a number of options within Solihull before arriving at the decision that Birmingham Business Park was the right location which would support the company’s growth plans. GBR Phoenix Beard are joint letting agents at Parkside alongside KWB, with Brown & Lee acting as acquiring agents. 3700 Parkside has benefited from a comprehensive refurbishment programme, which includes a contemporary reception area, raised floor access, suspended ceilings and LG7 compliant lighting. The provision of abundant car parking facilities was another factor in BCA’s decision.
