After 12 years as Managing Director of Cooke & Arkwright, Michael Lawley is to take on the role of Joint Chairman with Roger Thomas. Andrew Gardner will take over the Managing Director role at the firm, which is the largest independent firm of chartered surveyors in Wales and one of the longest established.
Andrew joined the firm in 1985 and currently heads up the Valuation and Professional department, as well as Development Land Sales. “I have been shadowing Mike for some time as we have planned this move for a while,” said Andrew. “Having Roger and Mike around, with their enormous knowledge and experience of the market and the operation of the business, will continue to be a huge help to me and to the firm.”
The changes will be effective from October 2011.
