PRUPIM lets refurbished premises in Southampton

PRUPIM, the real estate investment management arm of M&G has let Unit K Griffin Industrial Park in Totton, Southampton to Transpack Ltd.

Transpack Ltd, a long established medium sized packaging and polythene supplier, have taken a new five-year lease at an annual rent of £55,000 per annum. They will be using the refurbished premises as a warehouse and distribution unit for packaging. The refurbished unit comprises 814 sq m (8,763 sq ft).

Commenting on the letting, David Crowley, Asset Manager at PRUPIM, said: ‘’Griffin Industrial Park is ideally situated close to junction 2 of the M27 motorway and approximately 4 miles from Southampton City centre. When they become vacant, PRUPIM refurbishes each unit to a very high standard, providing new doors and ground floor disabled WCs. The open plan first floor offices have suspended ceilings, carpets, gas central heating and new double glazed ribbon windows. The warehouse areas are also overhauled and stripped providing hard wearing painted floors, new roof lights and low energy warehouse lighting.”

Jones Lang LaSalle was appointed jointly with Lambert Smith Hampton to market the property.
