Cushman & Wakefield has appointed one of London’s leading office agents, Rory Paton, as Co-Head of City Leasing in its London Offices team.
Paton has more than 20 years’ experience advising developers, investors and occupiers in the central London leasing market. He is currently a Senior Director at JLL and Co-Head of its City Office Agency Leasing team. Prior to that he was at Knight Frank, specialising in City of London leasing and development consultancy advice, for nearly 14 years.
Paton has advised on some of London’s most high-profile office buildings and developments, including 2 Finsbury Avenue (Modon, British Land and GIC), 1 Appold Street (British Land and GIC), 20 Fenchurch Street (Canary Wharf Group and Landsec), Sixty London Wall (LaSalle Investment Management), 76 Southbank (Stanhope and LaSalle Investment Management) and EightyFen (Partners Group and YardNine).
Joining as an International Partner at the end of 2026, Paton will lead Cushman & Wakefield’s City Leasing team jointly with Andrew Parker.

Cushman & Wakefield’s London Offices team advised on the largest transactions in both the City and West End markets in Q1. These were, respectively, advising law firm Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer’s 268,000 sq ft off-plan pre-let at 1 Appold Street, Broadgate, and the 136,300 sq ft pre-let of Derwent London’s Network building in Fitzrovia to data and AI company Databricks.
