NG Chartered Surveyors helps Akyapak UK take space at Forbes Park

Global metal forming and fabrication machinery specialist Akyapak has expanded its UK operations with the leasing of a new industrial unit at Forbes Park in Long Eaton.

The company has taken 5,511 sq ft at 3 Toton Close, a high-specification trade counter and light industrial unit. The transaction was completed by Charlotte Steggles, Director of NG Chartered Surveyors.

Built in 2022 to a high standard, the unit benefits from a prominent position on the business park, eight car parking spaces, 6m eaves height, and excellent transport connectivity, located just three miles from Junction 25 of the M1 and five miles from Junction 24a.

Akyapak, which delivers machinery and software solutions for metal forming and fabrication, selected the property to support the continued growth of its UK operations.

Morut Bolu, Area Sales Manager at Akyapak UK, said: “We were looking for a strategically located facility to support our growing operations in the UK market. 3 Toton Close offered the right combination of warehouse capacity, accessibility and logistics advantages for our business.

“The new location will help us improve stock management, customer support and delivery efficiency across the UK.

“This move represents an important step in strengthening Akyapak UK’s presence in the British market. The new warehouse will allow us to increase operational efficiency, improve response times for customers and support our long-term growth plans in the region. It also demonstrates our commitment to investing in the UK market and providing better service to our partners and customers.”

Charlotte Steggles, Director at NG Chartered Surveyors, said: “Akyapak is a globally recognised engineering and manufacturing business, so it is fantastic to welcome the company to Forbes Park. 3 Toton Close provides high quality industrial accommodation in an excellent strategic location, making it an ideal fit for Akyapak’s expanding UK operations.

“It was a pleasure to work with Morut and the wider team throughout the transaction, and we are delighted to have secured premises that will support the company’s continued growth and investment in the region.”

Morut added: “Working with Charlotte was a very positive experience throughout the entire process. She was professional, responsive and supportive from the initial discussions through to completion. Her understanding of our requirements and proactive communication helped make the transition smooth and efficient.”
