Firethorn acquires 9.3 acre logistics site in Maidenhead

Real estate investor, developer and asset manager, Firethorn, has acquired a 9.3-acre logistics asset in Maidenhead for an undisclosed sum.

Situated on Norreys Drive in Maidenhead, the site is located in an established business district, adjacent to the Concorde and Vanwall business parks. Comprising 323,776 sq ft of industrial and office space, it has operated as a manufacturing facility for 70 years, with occupiers including Beecham’s, GSK and, most recently, consumer health company Haleon PLC.

James Sanders, Head of Industrial and Logistics at Firethorn, said:

“This acquisition represents a long-term investment in Maidenhead and is reflective of our strong commitment to the logistics sector, as we continue to expand our portfolio in prime locations across the UK.

“As we enter 2026, we’re actively pursuing opportunities to allocate further capital to new acquisitions and development. Firethorn is agile and well capitalised, with a strategic focus on high-quality sites where we can create value for our shareholders, occupiers and local communities.”

Situated in a prime employment and distribution location, the Maidenhead site offers excellent access to major transportation networks. Junction 8/9 of the M4 is within one mile, with connections to the M25 and central London, as well as Birmingham, Reading and Oxford. The site is within 15 miles of Heathrow Airport, and London Paddington is 25 minutes away by train.

Firethorn was advised by Quartz and Stephenson Harwood. CBRE acted on behalf of the vendor in the transaction.
