Multi-million pound sale of Lowesmoor Wharf secured by Watling Real Estate

Watling Real Estate, working in partnership with Savills, has successfully completed the sale of a significant mixed-use investment property in Worcester city centre, marketed at a guide price of £4.25 million.

Chris Walker and Andrew Foster of Watling Real Estate were appointed as Law of Property Act (LPA) receivers over Lowesmoor Wharf in December 2024.

The estate comprises 41 commercial units, providing approximately 64,500 sq. ft. of accommodation and generating an annual rent roll in excess of £450,000.

Chris Davies, director at Watling Real Estate’s Birmingham office, said: “Following an extensive marketing campaign, we received strong and competitive investor interest in Lowesmoor Wharf. Its attractive income profile, multiple asset management and value-add opportunities, combined with its strategic location, drove significant demand for the asset.

“Despite ongoing challenges in the marketplace and wider economy, investor appetite for well-located opportunities with strong underlying fundamentals remains robust.”

The property has been acquired by Wharf Worcester Ltd, a Worcester-based property company.

Watling Real Estate and Richard Lingen of Savills acted as joint agents on the sale, with Gateley Legal representing the vendor
