A leading property consultancy has successfully completed the sale of an industrial unit in Worcester to a well-known name in the West Midlands car retail sector.

Fisher German has sold a 25,377 sq ft unit on Blackpole Trading Estate to Hills Ford/ Hills Automotive.

The firm was appointed by a private seller on the sale of the site, which had a guide price of £2.8 million, leveraging its extensive expertise in the Worcester property market.

Hills Ford/Hills Automotive, known for selling new and used vehicles, purchased the site as part of plans to expand its car and commercial vehicle footprint with Ford, along with motorhome sales and aftersales operations.

Lauren Allcoat-Hatton, of Fisher German, said: “We are thrilled to have completed the sale of the unit on Blackpole Trading Estate.

“With our Worcester office situated directly opposite the site, we had a unique vantage point and deep understanding of its potential.

“Demand for quality industrial units of this size remains high across Worcestershire, and this property attracted significant interest. Hills Ford/Hills Automotive was a natural fit, and we’re pleased to have facilitated a deal that benefits both parties.

We’re excited to see how the site evolves under the Hills Automotive brand and wish them every success.”

Hills Ford /Hills Automotive, a family-run business, operates four sites across Worcestershire and has experienced steady growth since its launch in 2009. The development is expected to open in late spring of 2026 and is set to create 10 to 15 new jobs, further boosting the local economy.

Richard Hill, joint managing director of Hills Ford/Hills Automotive, said: “It is fantastic to purchase our new site in Worcester.

“Fisher German was very attentive, good at communicating and helped us get a deal which worked for both us and the seller.

“We already have sites in Malvern and Kidderminster, so this location felt right for us. It has strong transport links and there is also automotive trade in the immediate area.

“The site itself is nicely proportioned, with good space for both external display and customer parking as well as good indoor space for our internal showroom.

“We have seen considerable growth in both the areas of light commercial vehicles and motorhomes, so saw significant potential to expand in these areas.

“We now look forward to developing the site and hope to be open towards the early part of 2026.”
