Large warehouse in Warwickshire rented for more than £370,000 a year by Bromwich Hardy

The short-term let of a large warehouse in Warwickshire enabled leading commercial property agency Bromwich Hardy to generate a premium rent of more than £370,000 a year.

A national online retailer, who has not been named, has taken a 12-month lease on the 37,101 sq ft warehouse on the Kineton Road Industrial Estate, on Westfield Road in Southam.

The property is situated in an established employment and industrial area in Southam, to the south-west of the town centre.

Mark Booth, senior surveyor at Bromwich Hardy, said: “We’re pleased to have helped solve the short-term needs of the national online retailer.

“There had been an initial asking price of £230,000 per annum for this property, but the new tenant’s short-term needs resulted in an agreed rent of £370,960 for the year.

“The warehouse is on a corner plot with excellent frontage to Westfield Road and it has two-storey offices at the front, with ample toilet, kitchen and meeting room facilities.

“There is a superb secure concrete surfaced loading yard at the rear of the building, with two level access loading doors.

“The warehouse space has eaves heights varying from 4.7m to 7.8m, with LED lighting and a generous power supply of electricity to 450KVA.”
