CARGO Work 75% let as Bristol recruitment agency open new office

Specialist data and tech recruitment agency Peaple Talent have opened a new office in CARGO Work at Wapping Wharf, where 75% of the space is now let.

The one-of-a-kind office, tucked behind the walls of the historic Bristol Gaol has also just won a Bristol Civic Society Design Award, one of only three buildings to receive the accolade this year.

Founded six years ago, the Peaple Talent team has moved from a space in Colston Yard to a brand new office with expansion space at CARGO Work, reflecting the company’s ambitious growth plans. The 2,734 sq ft ground floor office has been fitted out by Mobius and includes a large kitchen/break out area, board room and modern work stations.

Karl Sweatman, founder of Peaple Talent said: “It’s a bigger space, a brighter space, and one that reflects where we’re heading as a business. We’ve now got more room to grow, to collaborate, and to welcome in even more of our clients, partners and community. We’ll be hosting business breakfasts, meet-ups, and hopefully a few celebrations too. This is a proud moment for us all – and we’re so excited for what’s ahead.”

Peaple Talent join a global fintech company, XTX Markets and district energy specialists Thermamech, leaving only the first floor vacant.

Stuart Hatton, managing director of Umberslade, the developers of CARGO Work said: “Peaple Talent recognised the opportunity to create their own unique office at CARGO Work and we’re delighted to welcome them to the Wapping Wharf and our community, with shops, restaurants, cafes and wellbeing operators, right on their doorstep.”

CARGO Work, the new open plan office building by Bristol’s harbourside includes a courtyard canopy and ‘shipping container’ metal cladding, with balconies and terraces on all four floors and views over south Bristol. The light-filled offices are in the heart of the city, within easy walking distance from the city centre and Temple Meads station.

Enquiries for CARGO Work should be made to joint agents on the scheme, Carter Jonas and Lambourn Commercial.
