An expanding supplements company has acquired premises in Dorset in an off-market transaction for £935,000.
Property consultancy Vail Williams sourced a 7,246 sq ft hybrid unit at 19-25 Nuffield Road, Nuffield Industrial Estate, Poole, on behalf of Supplement Needs.
Ben Duly, an Associate at Vail Williams, working out of the Bournemouth office, said: “We were retained by Supplement Needs to acquire a unit to aid its business growth plans, including the opening of a premium fitness and health hub. Following an initial search, and subsequent off-market discussions, the two-storey building was purchased for £935,000.
“Supplement Needs will be refurbishing the unit to provide bespoke, high-end gym, premium fitness and recovery facilities, with another part of the building to be used for the administrative side of the business.”
The seller of 19-25 Nuffield Road was Yorkshire-based Blue Chip Data Systems Limited, represented by Sibbett Gregory and BNP Paribas and the firm’s in-house legal department, with solicitors Frettens in Ringwood acting for Innovation Fitness.
Established in 2015 and with six staff, Supplement Needs is owned and run by director Leigh Kember.
Leigh said: “With significant income growth, Supplement Needs is well placed to expand. Industry figures show that 16% of us in the UK are currently a member of a gym, which means there is scope to attract more people with the right fitness support and encouragement.
“We’re excited to bring a high-end facility that will house a comprehensive offering for any level of fitness and health enthusiasts. It will be a one-stop-shop for all areas of health and fitness and we’re thrilled to see it come to fruition.
“Our new headquarters is strategically located, with plenty of parking and close to a lot of businesses, which means work-out convenience for local employees.
“We are grateful to Vail Williams for helping us acquire an ideal building for the next stage in our growth story.”
Supplement Needs was previously based at Virage Business Park in Stanley Green Road, Poole.
