National property consultancy Carter Jonas has expanded its Infrastructure team with the addition of five new members, including Rachel Wylde as partner, Erin Cousins-Amor and Mike Bapty as associates, and Karen Coates and Lucy Walshe as senior finance administrator and senior administrator, respectively.

The team, which has moved from Knight Frank, forms Carter Jonas’ new Southern Coastal team and is responsible for managing The Crown Estate’s Coastal Portfolio covering the south coast of England – from Bristol to Kent, including the Isle of Wight – which has been secured by Carter Jonas.

Under the leadership of Wylde, who has over 18 years of specialist experience, the team will oversee all aspects of commercial port lettings, marinas, wharves and outfalls, and private leisure moorings as part of their remit.

Rachel Wylde, Partner, Carter Jonas, said: “We are excited to have joined Carter Jonas to support The Crown Estate’s marine portfolio in the south. Having worked with The Crown Estate for several years, the portfolio is something that we are passionate about. The contract offers such a diverse range of projects and solutions that no one day is the same, and we are thrilled to be able to continue our work at Carter Jonas. Our team’s expertise in coastal management and the marine sector is a perfect fit for Carter Jonas, and we look forward to providing cohesive advice and support to The Crown Estate.”

Charles Hardcastle, Head of Energy & Marine at Carter Jonas, said: “This is a significant addition to our business and demonstrates our expertise in the coastal management sector. Rachel is renowned as a leading expert in this area, and we are excited to have her and her team on board, as we strengthen our relationship with The Crown Estate and work together to deliver a great result for our clients.”
