MCS Group bolsters management team with two appointments

Main contractor MCS Group has bolstered its management team with the arrival of Kevin Pickton and Adrian Baron.

Kevin has joined the West Midlands-based company as operations director while Adrian has been appointed operations manager.

James Currie, group construction director at MCS Group, said: “Kevin and Adrian have gained a wealth of experience in the sector and are both excellent additions to the MCS team. They will help us to drive the company forward in 2024 and into the future.”

Kevin has over 15 years’ experience within the construction industry. Having worked at VolkerFitzpatrick for 10 years, he started his career as a trainee building services manager, progressing to senior project manager delivering projects with values up to £20m.

Working most recently for Readie Construction, Kevin oversaw a number of contracts and was responsible for delivering some of their most prestigious projects.

Adrian is a skilled operations manager with over 40 years’ experience in construction. He started his career as an apprentice carpenter, progressing to contracts manager delivering major projects.

Until recently he worked at Benniman Group for over seven years, where he oversaw a number of large developments. Adrian’s position at MCS Group has overall responsibility from pre-construction stage through to end of defect liability period, to ensure successful delivery of the Warwick-based company’s projects.

Award-winning MCS Group, based in Warwick, delivers projects across the industrial, storage and distribution sector. The company, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2023, has also built and refurbished more than 300 car dealerships including Audi, BMW, Mclaren and Jaguar Land Rover since its inception in 2003.
