Property consultancy Vail Williams has signed a lease extension on one of its South Coast offices.

In a new five-year lease, the 2,200 sq ft workspace at Lakeside North Harbour business campus in Portsmouth is also being refurbished to a high specification.

As well as Portsmouth, Vail Williams has leased new regional offices at Woking in Surrey, Thames Valley and London, along with one in Bournemouth last year.

Russell Miller, the consultancy’s Regional Managing Director for the South Coast Region, said: “The investment in our office at Lakeside reaffirms our long-term commitment to the Portsmouth and wider Solent region – we are incredibly proud to work for many businesses here, from landlords and occupiers to developers and planners.

“The 16-desk office is being refurbished and the layout changed for enhanced IT connectivity and to incorporate soundproof workspaces for video conference calls and meetings.

“Like many companies in the UK, we have embraced hybrid working, with staff knowing they have a welcoming and flexible workplace and access to all the amenities which come with being based at this thriving business campus.”

Portsmouth City Council represented itself in the transaction.

Vail Williams has its other South Coast offices at Ocean Village in Southampton and Wessex Fields in Bournemouth.
