Property consultancy Vail Williams has hired an experienced occupier advisory specialist as regional business demand continues to drive expansion.

Will Lawther has been appointed as Partner in the firm’s London office, based in Soho, from where he will provide full-service property advice.

He joins from London-based Turner Morum, where he spent almost a decade, following spells with Keningtons LLP and Evans & Payne.

James Lacey, Vail Williams Regional Managing Partner for London, said: “We are pleased to have secured the services of Will, who is an exceptional operator and whose knowledge and expertise will stand the firm in good stead.

“Will has more than 20 years’ experience in commercial property consultancy. He specialises in providing full-service property advice, focusing on innovative, client-led solutions for a broad range of clients including occupiers, owners and developers.

“Throughout his career, he has supported his clients with the full lifecycle of their property needs, helping them to maximise returns, minimise property costs and boost value across both traditional and specialist asset classes.

“He will have a big role to play in our future as we continue to increase market share across the London region.”

Will’s expertise spans everything from supporting office and industrial clients with corporate relocations and providing development advice, to investment transactions, rent reviews and lease renewals, as well as business rates mitigation.

Most recently, he has been at the vanguard of consultancy and transactional advisory relating to multi-storey industrial space and renewable energy projects.

Will is committed to nurturing future talent and the next generation of property advisors and is a RICS APC assessor and mentor.

He said: “To be appointed as Partner by such a forward thinking property consultancy as Vail Williams is both gratifying and inspiring. My challenge is to repay the confidence shown in me by striving to provide the best possible service to our valued clients.

“I hope that my multi-faceted experience while working in the London market and across the UK, twinned with my approachability, will provide clients with the confidence that, when they engage me, I’ll deliver holistic solutions to a host of ‘head-scratching’ challenges.

“Whether I am advising PLCs, global asset managers and developers, or family offices and single property occupiers, clients can be assured that my collaborative approach will deliver the best possible outcome.”
