Bateman House in Cambridge has two new occupiers on board

Savills, on behalf of Trinity Hall, has let the last remaining office space at Bateman House at 82-88 Hills Road in Cambridge to BenchSci UK Ltd and Govia Thameslink Railway Ltd respectively.

BenchSci, the firm specialising in AI assisted antibody selection, will occupy Suite A on part of the second floor of the four storey building, as well as a small office suite on the ground floor totalling 3,169 sq ft. Govia Thameslink, the train operating company, has taken Suite B on part of the second floor totalling 2,521 sq ft. Both firms have agreed to a new five-year lease.

Following this latest deal Bateman House is now fully let

William Clarke, director in the business space team at Savills Cambridge, comments: “Bateman House provides good quality office accommodation located within moments of Cambridge railway station. Given the lack of smaller sub 3,000 sq ft units currently available within the city’s CBD, this was an ideal option for both occupiers. It is a great result to see the building fully let.”

BenchSci was advised by Colliers and Govia Thameslink was unrepresented.
