Copping Joyce expands it team due to growth

London-based real estate advisor, Copping Joyce, has hired a cohort of new team members including a number of graduates during quarter two as it continues to expand its team to cope with the increasingly buoyant market inside the M25.

The ten new graduates range in age from 21 to 32 and bring with them a new and fresh perspective to the business. For some, this will be their first job out of university whilst others are joining the business with a degree of understanding drawn from the broader industry.

Mario Antoniou, Theo Sevestre, Vicky Tseng, Bilal Chaudry and John Watts all join the company with a masters or undergraduate degree in Real Estate Development – the perfect degree to start the journey to becoming a Chartered Surveyor.

Onkar Bhambra has a BSc degree in Biochemistry and Panos Orfanakos completed a BSc in engineering, before gaining a Master’s in Real Estate Development. Both are taking a move away from the original courses they studied to pursue a career which provides them with excellent long-term prospects in an industry that continues to thrive post-Covid.

Reuben Stovold and Anthony Brown bring with them previous experience of the broader industry. Rueben, a native of New Zealand, has been working in the social housing team at Copping Joyce and has a broad construction industry knowledge having worked in the industry for several years. Anthony worked for five years as an acquisitions surveyor and has joined the commercial agency team at Copping Joyce.

Commenting on the recruitment of their new graduates, Darya Kolas, Director and Head of Social Housing at Copping Joyce, said: “We are thrilled to be expanding our team with so much new, young talent. The introduction of the new graduates certainly brings a keen eagerness and fresh perspective to the Copping Joyce team! Working as a chartered surveyor is a career that is open to anyone with an interest in the built environment, not just those who have done a Real Estate Development degree. Our latest intake of graduates are testament to that and we look forward to watching them flourish.”
