His appointment comes 15 years after the former Poole Grammar School student joined the chartered accountants and business advisers as a trainee.
Formerly manager of the 14-strong team, Sam is a chartered certified accountant with a passion outside work for cricket. He is a former captain of Broadstone Cricket Club.
Princecroft Willis Partner James Robinson said: “Sam’s promotion gives me particular pleasure because I well remember his first day back in 1998 as a long-haired school leaver.
“PcW is committed to new businesses and entrepreneurs. Getting the right advice and support from day one is critical to success.
“We’re delighted that our enterprise team, headed by Sam, are playing their part in helping grow the businesses of the future,” James added.
PcW has offices in Poole and New Milton and offers a full range of accounting services from audit to taxation.
Locally based, independent and with strong community roots, the firm has nine partners and more than 100 team members.
