Harris Lamb announces 2022 promotions

L-R: James Willcock, Marcus Andrew and Abi Linford.

Harris Lamb has announced three key promotions within the business, recognising the work of team members within its Building Consultancy, Residential Land and Lease Advisory departments.

Abi Linford, of the business’ Lease Advisory team, has been promoted to Associate, while James Willcock, within the Residential Land team, has become a Senior Surveyor, and Marcus Andrew, of Harris Lamb’s Building Consultancy department, has been promoted to Senior Building Surveyor.

Richard Fantham, Director, said that all three had put in an outstanding performance for the company.

“While 2020-21 brought a whole range of unforeseen circumstances and challenges to the sector as a whole, the following 12 months have been equally unpredictable as clients sought to adapt to the impact of the pandemic,” he said.

“The board of directors has been impressed and proud of the way that everyone within the business has responded to the changes, from changing working conditions to demands and requirements from clients as they too acted to ensure their workplaces were safe and their operations secure, but these three individuals have really stood out to us, and we are delighted to reward them for their dedication.

“Abi joined Harris Lamb in 2016, and her commitment to the business in that time has been exemplary, providing first-class advice around rent reviews, lease renewals and acquisition strategy, as well as playing an active part in representing the business within the wider community.

“Since joining the business six years ago, Marcus has proved himself a vital part of the Building Consultancy team, taking the lead in a number of refurbishment projects at a time when the industrial market has exploded in order to help meet the surge in demand.

“As with industrial property, the demand for new housing across the UK has been relentless over the past 18 months, and our Residential Land team has been working closely with developers and private owners alike to identify opportunities to fulfil that need. Since being appointed to the team in 2017, James has identified a wide range of land parcels and led viewings and negotiations to bring residential opportunities forward at a critical time,” he said.

“All three of them are highly valued by their colleagues, and we are delighted to acknowledge and reward the dedication and commitment they have demonstrated during their time with us,” added Richard.
