Alarm system specialist agrees deal on new offices

Alarm system specialist Verisure is launching a new West Midlands branch after agreeing to let office space at a Birmingham business park.

The ambitious company is expanding its branch network by taking 2,300 sq ft of office space at Fazeley House in Aston, landlords Key Land Capital have announced. The move will create new jobs and bring investment to the region.

Verisure specialises in high-tech home and business security alarm systems. Fazeley House in Rocky Lane, Aston, Birmingham. The 18,155 sq ft detached, three-storey office block provides self-contained open plan office suites and is located in a canalside setting just a short drive from the M6 motorway.

Kevin Sharkey, managing director of Birmingham-based Key Land Capital, said: “Fazeley House has proved to be extremely popular with companies looking for high quality accommodation in an extremely convenient location.

“Verisure identified the major business benefits associated with office space located just outside the city centre and we wish them huge success at their new branch.”

Agent Ed Siddall-Jones was instructed by Key Land Capital to market vacant space at the refurbished property and negotiated the five-year lease with Verisure.

He said: “We are delighted to welcome Verisure to Fazeley House. They join a list of successful businesses within the block who are taking advantage of quality office space outside the traditional CBD. The company was attracted to the quality of space and the amount of car parking available to support their ever-expanding business.

“The fact that you can let quality office accommodation at competitive rentals only five minutes from the city centre is now starting to appeal to a number of occupiers. We anticipate a greater level of demand for fringe city locations as the cost benefits and the clean air zone take their toll on locations within the A4540 Middleway Ring Road.”
