IM Properties appoints new asset manager

Vicky Aspinall, IM Properties

Vicky Aspinall has joined IM Properties from Colliers UK as asset manager.

Having worked with Vicky agency side on its Mell Square scheme, IM Properties had been impressed by her skills and work ethic, drawing on a 15-year property background including time at Colliers, Cushman & Wakefield and Ashtenne, where she was an industrial asset manager.

For Vicky, IM Properties presents an exciting new opportunity in line with her own personal and career aspirations to broaden her experience.

“This job is a good balance for me between working for a high profile, results-driven property company and an organisation who is considering its future and developing sustainable strategies to look after the long-term benefits of both the environment and the communities it impacts.

“As an individual and mother, I feel a responsibility to my children to show I’m playing my part and as a family we’re embracing greener living, cutting down on meat and doing what we can to recycle and encourage greater biodiversity.

“The past 12 months has only served to sharpen my focus on what matters and there is no better place to make an impact than real estate for helping to make a difference to the planet but on a much larger scale.”

John Hammond, investment director at IM Properties added: “Vicky came very highly recommended both from my team and her industry peers. It’s a strange time for her to start during a pandemic, however she’s a natural fit for the business and a smart and adaptable individual who I’m confident will rise to the challenge.

“I know she will embrace all that we are striving to deliver this year on a more sustainable future and working on both IM Properties and the IM Group’s charitable investment portfolio, she will gain a solid experience of a wider range of assets.”
