Neighbouring retail premises could bring new lease of life to high street

Neighbouring retail premises in Droitwich could bring a new lease of life to the high street as new businesses look to move into the town.

53 and 55 High Street, Droitwich – which are being marketed by Worcester-based agents Halls Commercial – are situated on the main high street of Droitwich Spa town centre with many neighbouring shops offering a variety of outlets for customers. There is also a Waitrose supermarket nearby that will help to encourage footfall.

53 High Street, which measures a total of 590 sq ft, comprises a ground floor retail area (466 sq ft) with large display window fronting the high street. The retail area is a modern open plan space with a kitchenette/store room at the rear (124 sq ft), WC and a door that leads out to a car parking area with one space allocated to the property.
55 High Street has the same layout as its neighbouring property but is a little smaller at 576 sq ft, comprising a retail area (452 sq ft), kitchenette/store (124 sq ft), WC and one allocated parking space.
More car parking facilities are available in the High Street (time limited) and a pay & display car park at the Waitrose supermarket.

Charlotte Fullard, senior surveyor at Halls Commercial, said: “Tenants interested in these retail properties have the ability to change the face of the high street and bring a new product or service to local customers. The abundance of parking facilities available nearby will also help to attract customers.”
53 and 55 High Street are both being marketed by Worcester-based agents Halls Commercial each at £11,000 per annum (plus VAT).
