Halls Commercial grows with Worcester acquisition

Property consultants and chartered surveyors Halls Worcester has announced it is expanding its commercial operations in the Worcestershire region with the acquisition of a well-known local firm of chartered surveyors specializing in commercial agency and property management.

Halls has acquired the practice of Jonathan Chilton FRICS, who has decided to retire after more than 40 years in the profession. The move will increase the number of commercial agency instructions across the industrial, office and retail sectors and will also bring with it a number of commercial management instructions, expanding the extensive portfolio which Halls already have in their asset management department.

Announcing the deal, Halls’ managing partner, Jason Clines said: “I have known Jonathan as a friend and professional colleague for many years. His name is synonymous with a high level of professional integrity and he has a first class reputation as a chartered surveyor. His business is a perfect fit for our Worcester commercial office and we will continue to offer the same high level of service and advice to Jonathan’s clients as he has done.”

Halls has also appointed a graduate surveyor to support its growing client base. Luke Weaver will join Halls’ commercial agency department and will be involved in the leasing and selling of all types of commercial property.

Halls is one of the oldest and most respected independent firms of chartered surveyors, valuers, estate agents and auctioneers with offices in Worcestershire and the south West Midlands, Shropshire, and mid-Wales.
