Developer Nord, together with main contractor Skanska, started construction of their new office building, One Portwall Square, on Monday 9th November 2020. With construction sites still able to operate under lockdown restrictions, the required social distancing measures haven’t prevented Nord or Skanska from marking this milestone, albeit at a safe distance.

The six storey, 33,750 sq ft commercial development is designed by architect Allford Hall Monaghan Morris and is located next to Bristol City Council’s 100 Temple Street office, 400m from Temple Meads Station in the heart of Bristol’s commercial district.

With a focus on tenant wellbeing, One Portwall Square will feature generous workspaces, super high ceilings, opening windows and sizeable south facing terraces on every upper floor as well as a brand new pocket square and excellent cycling provisions. It is also committed to outstanding sustainability, will be built to BREEAM Excellent and EPC Rating A standards and connect into Bristol City Council’s District Heat Network for low carbon heating.

One Portwall Square is due to complete in late 2021. All enquiries should be directed to Cushman & Wakefield Bristol.
