Worcester office space accommodates growing workforce

A leading provider of ISO certifications has relocated to larger office premises in Worcester to accommodate its rapidly growing workforce.

ISO Quality Services Limited has signed a 5-year lease for 3,659 sq ft of office space at Oak House, Worcester.

Oak House, Everoak Estate – marketed by local agents Halls Commercial – is situated on the west side of Worcester, fronting the main Bromyard Road, and is approximately two miles from the city centre.

ISO Quality Services Limited has taken the majority of the first floor, comprising unit 2 rear (2,208 sq ft) and suite 2 front (1,451 sq ft). The family-run business has moved from Leigh Sinton in Malvern, where the team was previously spread over three small farm buildings.

Jennifer Appleton, operations director at ISO Quality Services Limited, said: “Our team has grown from three to eight in the past 18 months following a significant rise in new clients. Therefore, we were starting to become a little crowded in our previous offices. While we liked the rural location of the Malvern offices, we were looking for somewhere we could bring the team together under one roof and give them more space to work.

“Oak House has plenty of space to accommodate our current workforce as well as any future recruits. We have also been able to dedicate a room to training/meetings, which we didn’t have enough room to do before. Interconnecting doors between the offices means employees don’t have to go outside to get to other departments, which has bought the team closer together and allows them to work more efficiently.

“It was important that we found office space within the Malvern/Worcester area to ensure that it wasn’t too much upheaval for employees who live locally. The 10 allocated parking spaces are also a bonus.”

This recent office letting leaves just suite 1, first floor front (1,145 sq ft) and ground floor front (2,013 sq ft) of Oak House available to rent.

Charlotte added: “Oak House occupies a prominent position in an established business location. Junction 7 of the M5 motorway, is readily accessible via the southern bypass on the western orbital road, approximately five miles away. Each unit also comes with a number of allocated parking spaces.”

Suite 1, first floor front is available to rent through Halls’ Worcester office at £5,700 per annum, while ground floor front is available at £14,000 per annum.
